Team & Permissions Overview
Manage who can book, who can approve, and who can administer your Venuo account.
Venuo uses a role-based access model to control what each team member can see and do. Roles are assigned per user; groups control which spaces a role can access.
Roles at a glance
| Role | Who it’s for | Key permissions |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | Account creator / billing contact | Everything: spaces, users, billing, settings, approvals |
| Admin | Office managers, co-administrators | Everything except billing; can approve bookings and manage users |
| Member | Regular team members | Book spaces they have access to via group membership |
| Guest | Visitors / external people | Book spaces via public QR link or shareable URL — no account required |
How groups work
Groups let you control which spaces a Member can book. By default, a new member has no group and can only book spaces marked as publicly available. Assign a member to a group to grant access to restricted spaces. Example: An “Engineering” group can access all meeting rooms on Floor 3. A “Leadership” group can also access the Executive Boardroom.
